APPY NOVEMBER!!!!!

What a beautiful start to another month! We just came off of a Super Busy October with Fundraising for church, planning another fundraiser, spending a weekend with my in laws in Branson and helping my hubby plan a nice Pastor Appreciation celebration for our Pastor.

October's are always our busiest time of year, not to mention we are working on building our new sanctuary!!! Its so exciting to see God moving in our services and all around our community. When you pray for something and labor for something... its always amazing when you start to see God moving out in the open!

So I have been incognito lately... I have so much on my mind... just never could get it together to blog... but while I was standing outside of my house last night as I was locked out... I got an Epiphany ~ why not just start writing like I used to and let the words fall as they may... at least someone out here in the blog world can make sense of my dizzy intellect!!! Oh come on now.. Im not that bad, am I? lol

I am in the process of reading Not a Fan by kyle idleman. It is great! I highly recommend this book. It will make you have a good hard look at your life! I am definitely thankful for a God who loves us with everything He is! So why cannot we do the same?

Wow! Has it really been this long (since January) since we last met??? Well I shall have to remedy that! I have to quit saying to myself oh I will blog tomorrow (we all know its like a slow~mo run whilst everything is going really fast in front of us!) It just never makes it to tomorrow... and if it does well just think of it this way... If I was in China right now and I flew to Hawaii... It would be yesterday! Now... how cool would it be to "Time Travel" But really hmmm... I think I will stop right there because I can feel it... Your mind has been blown! :)

So Hi to Everyone! Its been a long time! Hope you all are faring well and this year has been good for you.... and if it hasn't .... well I have made it just in time to remind you that God is good all the time... and if you are going through something... HE is there with you... because well Hes Good and Hes the most awesomest Father... Hes gonna hold your hand, help you up when you stumble, cheer you on .... and be there the whole way (even if you don't see, feel or hear Him at the moment) he will not bring you to something if he wasn't going to take you through it! So there! Your stuck! THANK SWEET JESUS!

This picture spoke to me on so many levels ... from the childish awe and amazement I still posess (when it comes to pop up books) to the utter glee I feel when looking at this knowing my books really do come to life (Yes I sure did watch Never Ending Story when I was little) to the great peace and assurance that My God, the One who loves me, Who calls me His own has by divine inspiration spoken His great words through the most widly sought book Still today The Bible.

When I read it I know that It is true, I know every word has a purpose and I know it is Alive! Jesus will back His word up and much like this picture ~ It will come to life in you. If you have a problem... there is a scripture for that... a question... no problem God has it covered... just serch the scriptures! I promise you... for everything you are facing... He can and will speak to you... to the situation and His word will do the work... He promised that It would not return to him Void that it would do the work it was set out to do... So ... Whats your need? Your problem? Your concern? Turn to the Word of God... I know there is an answer... search it out and apply it to you... and then watch His word work on your behalf ~ It will come alive for you... just like this picture!

The Home of Superman

So we got to Metropolis,  IL and WOW!  This is a city with a love for all things superman!!!

It has been a beautiful drive and very worthwhile! Expect more later about this place! For now here a couple pics!

I totally have to check and see how my post will come through, so this is just a test :-)

Could it really be???

Could it really be??? Am I seriously 28 for the 5th time already??? LOL It doesnt seem real? Sometimes I look back and think, where has the time gone? Then there are other times when I remember and feel every little creak of time! :) I woke up this morning so thankful that Sweet Jesus has seen fit to bring me through another year! My husband came in this morning playing the chipmonks version of Happy Birthday and my mother called singing happy birthday... and I have sweet sweet friends that have taken a second to tell me on FB... so its been a super nice day already! We have been blessed to get a new car, which turned out to be my bday present! Saturday was a evening of many suprises.... with even a Suprise party which... umm I didnt know... and I MISSED IT! Yes !!!! I missed it! We had a singing Saturday night that got rained out during it, so Pastor got up and said thank you for coming we will see you in the morning.... and my mother and father in law who knew about the party told Chris my husband that the party had been cancelled too... So when I came in Sunday morning to church someone came up to me and was like Sis. Shannon did you know you have a table full of presents?! LOL I was completely flabergasted! So this is why... from now on I will be planning my own Suprise parties from now on! LOL Anyway my husband got off work a little early on Saturday to suprise me with the car and a cake! So sweet! Now if my parents  and sisters lived closer it would all be complete!

 It seems like many good new beginnings are happening! Im really excited to see where Jesus is going to take me from this point! Whatever and wherever is fine just as long as its with Him! :)

****Motorcycle News ~ We are in the process of starting our own ministry chapter for the Azusa StreetRiders http://azusastreetriders.com/ here in North Eastern Arkansas, so that is super exciting! And no... I have decided NOT to get my own bike... I way too much enjoy riding with my husband****

Where oh where has the time gone???

Well its September... and with September comes Birthdays and beautiful breezes and gorgeous drives through the country... (on the bike this year) .... among... FOOTBALL :)  (my total fav month!)

Well I have to say it has been a super long and HOT summer all the way around! I really do not know where it went? Im still on Medifast but really since the 4th of July it has been nothing but a struggle for me. My heart is in it... but my head is NOT... (oh if only the two would catch up with each other... ) We had a beautiful time at the bike rally with friends at the end of August. Im still trying to get over the sweet little tatoo that our bike branded me with...(a burn) :) It should be gone by the next ride at the end of the month! Which Im so excited for! We are going to a flea market about an hour and a half away and then on up to Metropolis IL (the home of Superman) afterwards.... so EXCITED!
hmmm well Chris turned 38 on the 3rd of this month and my sweet baby sister Jeri turned 19 on the 1st! It just doesnt seem possible! I have forgotten how old I will be at the end of the month... so I think I shall just be 28 again!!! Yes it definatly sounds like a plan to me! Did I tell you yet that we are moving!!! Yes! We have finally found a beautiful house to Rent... Im so excited! We are....(cough..cough...ahem) I am packing up the apt and we are going to be starting to put things in the house on this Friday! And yes my design eye has opened wide... so Im sure I will be posting alot of fun stuff and pics for you all to look at!

So I had my weekly weigh in this morning.... and I have lost 7 pounds since last week! Im so excited! I feel like Im on a good downhill slope! Well after I had to get after the scale last week! (check out my above pic! ) lol Couldnt resist!

Caution ~ Serious complaining ahead...  

Im seriously so bummed right now! Here I am at work and all I can do is think about HOW big of a mess I have in our SMALL apartment! Its my fault for having so much stuff I know... but it used to be an organized mess.

 My husband got this beautiful idea to make our bedroom look nicer by getting me a gorgeous headboard and footboard (of course it takes up way more of our already small room ... and now... nothing fits under the bed (so no storage there) my desk and all my craft stuff that I had in the corner with my desk had to come out of there... with my cool polka dotted desk in my stepsons room and my craft stuff EVERYWHERE (his room, kitchen table, counters, floor) .... and still yet I have a book case full of books in my room that I have to find a place for. At least I had a color scheme working for me... Crazy how many problems ONE thing can do to a room! Why would everything have to change now?  Gah!!!!! I HATE clutter!!! Absoutly HATE clutter! It makes me feel icky and hopeless! Okay so it sounds like I hate change too... not true.. I just would like to have room to put my stuff to be able to use it and make creative things for people! I have soooo much to do and I have to sit here at work until 4:30. I have No idea on where to start, I have One tote and alot of stuff to find a place for. I need a declutter fairy at my house during lunch! Someone help! Before I loose my mind in my "deliriously happy" house! LOL Im ready to take garbage bags home and start pitching! Hmmm maybe I shall! I just hate to think of throwing away a fun part of me! A place where I loose all my insainity! :) Well there goes another part of me... being chipped away.... "chink....chink"

Well on a lighter note.... My dear husband is making a storage shed for his motorcycle and told me I could put my craft stuff out there... I guess for a few years it will be okay out there right?? ..... sigh.... I will be better tomorrow when all is well with my house! When things come together I love it! :)
In the mean time ~
If anyone has any ideas on decluttering... please comment with some advise! I desperatly need it!

What Happened???

Soooo Today, I have NO IDEA what is wrong with me... but before I knew it I had consumed a taco supreme that my husband brought home, Then I went to the store and ended up getting, One small bag of mini reeces peanut butter cups, almost a whole king size butterfinger candy bar, and if that wasnt enough I went to Sonic and got a Chicago Style Dog. UMMM Okay well So I have been doing Zumba this week and even though I went on a stupid binge when we went on vacation... that I was truly paying for.... I was trying to catch back up and had to put into consideration that excercising can make me gain some pounds due to the muscle.... well I went and weighed around 11:30 and I noticed that I was STILL at 250! WHAT????? It has almost been my whole second month on Medifast! Im soooooooo BUMMED! Im not sure what to do? I paied for a whole month of Zumba classes... becaiuse it is fun and well I thought it would help me loose weight! BUt Im so not sure! Im really bummed! I have been doing great (except for my little indecresion today) since I have been back from vac.... two weeks yesterday! I gained about 6 to 7 pounds on that so Im down that... but I cant get back to my previous weight of 248! Lord please bestow upon me some Supernatural Weight LOSS!!! In Jesus Name! A.M.E.N :)

Glad to be back in my own bed!

So we went on vacation over the weekend... and got to visit Wonderworks! Lemme tell ya ~ It Was so much fun! I of course HAD TO .... yes HAD TO, lay on the bed of nails! ..... as if the hotel bed wasn't hard enough! Lol well whatever they tell you.... It DOES hurt! I don't know if I thought ~ hey piece of cake! Lol well I thought those nails were going to puncture through my skin... it was worse when I started thinking how heavy I actually am... and if there was a weight limit! Thank you JESUS for Medifast and that loss I had last month ... don't know if any extra weight would have held up! Whew!! Well was a nice New experience! So glad to be back in my own bed! :-)
